We respect the value of your time. Please respect ours.
Unlike most dental offices, we book only one patient per time slot to help ensure you are seen as close to your scheduled appointment as possible. We do not double book appointments, which would otherwise cause you unnecessary waiting time in the reception room. We, therefore, reserve the right to bill those patients who fail to show or fail to provide adequate cancellation time for appointments, which have been made. Any billing for late cancellations or no-show appointments will be determined on an individual basis and certainly, consideration will be given to emergencies and illnesses that may arise.
This office will when able, provide to our patients a reminder phone call to confirm dental appointments. However, it is the ultimate responsibility of the patient or (parent, guardian…) to remember when an appointment has been made to avoid unnecessary broken appointment charges.
For Patients with Dental Insurance
This office will, as a courtesy to those patients with dental insurance, submit all dental claim forms to the insurance providers. Our computer system will APPROXIMATE the amount of insurance reimbursement expected, and the anticipated balance will be due at time of service. This is necessary to ensure the highest quality dental care can be administered. It must be remembered that the dental insurance is a contract between the patient and the insurance company, and the patient is ultimately responsible for all charges incurred that the insurance does not pay.
Billing and Payment Policy
Each month a statement will be sent for any past due balance on your account. It is expected that payment in full will be made unless prior arrangements have been made with the office staff. Account balances past 90 days due are subject to interest charges.
When the office is closed, the answering machine will always have the name and phone number of the doctor on call.
